Dr. Steven Mandell

Dr. Steven Mandell


Dr. Mandell has 5 University degrees including a Doctorate in International Business from George Washington University, a Juris Doctorate, an MBA from the Wharton School in International Finance, and a Chemical Engineering degree from Lehigh University.

Dr. Mandell has been a senior executive with several international consulting firms and the CEO of a Fortune 500 subsidiary with over 4000 employees. He is also the author of over one hundred academic textbooks on technology and business. He has been working on the design of sensor monitors and drones for the past decade.


Dan Pothier

Dan has been working in various Internet and wireless technology companies for over 20 years and was the lead engineer on the team that launched Canada’s first licensed wireless Internet system.

Dan has designed and implemented proprietary systems for broadband music delivery, search technology, drone technology, and keystroke biometrics. He has developed specialty sensors for surface dust accumulation and radiation monitoring. He is currently working on a project for the Candian government that analyzes and pinpoints the location of gunshots in school and office buildings, utilizing real-time monitors. Dan studied computer science at Athabasca University in Canada.


Virginia Coles

Chief Strategist

Virginia leads the RIS sales and marketing strategies for B2B activities. She is currently the Principal at Zenzu where she supports numerous technology companies.

Virginia received her business administration degree from James Madison University and her MBA from Smith College.

Virginia was the Senior Executive at AT&T responsible for the marketing of their $550M data center organization following her time as Vice President of Western Union.

Virginia has also served as a Strategic Advisor to Colt Data Services and Sony Corporation (PlayStation).


Justin Festa

Chief Technology and Product Officer

Justin is responsible for all Technical, Engineering, and Operations matters at RIS. He was one of thee original founders of Air Innovation Resources and acted as the Senior Executive responsible for technology and engineering. Justin is a graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Computer Engineering.

Justin has held several senior positions with digital media corporations including Bluefin Media and Little Things, where he was responsible for over $30 million dollars of paid advertising.  In addition, he has worked with sensor technology for over five years and was responsible for the successful implementation of commercial monitors in dialysis clinics, casinos, banks, schools, and other commercial complexes.


Zachary Mandell

Chief Marketing Officer and Partnerships

Zachary is responsible for developing partnerships as well as promoting the analysis services for RIS.  He has been involved with asset sensor operations for the past several years while founding his own successful digital marketing company, TheMovieNetwork.  He received his undergraduate and MBA degrees from The George Washington University with a focus on Internet Marketing.

Zachary was the Senior Vice President with Bluefin Media responsible for digital advertising and traffic generation as well as the Director of Digital Marketing for several corporations. He has worked closely in setting up the Image Analysis and Analytics center in Coimbatore, India.


Tony Smith

Vice President of Business Development

Tony is an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of working in the digital industry. He is skilled in Digital Strategy, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Management, Lead Generation, and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).

Tony has a strong business development background having received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) focused on International Business and Marketing from The Ohio State University. Mr. Smith’s entrepreneurial history includes successful start-ups that have gone on to be acquired by firms ultimately generating over $100 million in yearly revenues.
